Infineon Technologies AG has introduced the PSoC™ 6 AI Evaluation Kit, designed to support the development of embedded systems, Edge AI, and Machine Learning (ML) applications. This evaluation kit aims to simplify the creation of intelligent applications for consumer electronics, smart home setups, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
With a compact size of 35 mm x 45 mm, the PSoC 6 AI Evaluation Kit includes a variety of sensors and connectivity options. It is based on the Infineon PSoC 6 microcontroller (MCU), which delivers the necessary computing power for real-time data processing directly at the sensor level. This configuration improves performance and energy efficiency by reducing reliance on cloud-based processing.
The kit is compatible with multiple development environments, including Infineon’s ModusToolbox™, which supports software development, and Imagimob Studio, used for creating and managing custom ML models. Additionally, Imagimob Studio provides access to a library of pre-built AI models, facilitating the development process.
