Hubert Baren (42) has taken over the direction of IPTE Germany GmbH from the 1st September 2007. The certified engineer was previously with the Belgium mother company IPTE as Manager Sales and Marketing. Baren has been with the company for the past 11 years. The company offers an integrated portfolio for manufacturing completely automated and integrated production and test equipment.

Radisys has bought Intel’s business segment for ATCA chassis, cPCI blades as well as cPCI chasis for 31.75 m US$. According to Radisys, a “significant” number of Intel employees will also be taken over. The company expects that the takeover will increase the annual turnover by 50 m US$.
